Blessed #MaryOfThePassion was convinced that only Blessed #MaryOfThePassion was convinced that only God can fill the emptiness in one’s heart … this deep conviction of faith helped her face many trials and suffering in her lifetime. She urges us to keep going back to God, to know God deeply, and witness to God’s love in all its fullness.

Are we instruments of peace, love, and joy for all those we meet? We are challenged to find two ways we can share about #Jesus, at home, and at school or the workplace. Lord, make us channels of your love!

Thanks to the #FMM Sisters, and staff of Hai Sing Catholic School, for leading us in reflection.

We’re at the halfway mark of our novena in prepa We’re at the halfway mark of our novena in preparation for #CEC2021. Join us for Day 5, tonight at 8pm, as the sisters of the #FranciscanMissionariesOfMary lead us in prayer. Visit accs.sg/cec2021 to watch ‘LIVE’.
As baptised members of the Body of Christ, we are As baptised members of the Body of Christ, we are co-responsible for the mission that He left us until He comes again: the salvation of souls ... focussing on eternal life with God, but also on how we are collaborating with the Most Holy Trinity to build the Kingdom of God on this side of life … [Jesus] sends us … out into our challenging world to witness to Him by what we say and do. We are sent on mission by Christ and the Church as joyful witnesses of God’s love and mercy. In our work as #educators, do we truly reflect the image of God to those around us?

“Lord, allow us to be the channel of Your grace, that we may be your hands to touch the lives of those whom we serve, the feet that walk the path of life in the mystery of the cross, and mouthpiece to proclaim Your love and mercy.”

Thank you teachers and students at Montfort Secondary School, and Br Damian Tay of the Montfort Brothers of Saint Gabriel, for leading us in prayer and reflection. Join us tomorrow at 8pm for Day 5 of our pre-conference Novena, in preparation for #CEC2021.

At last night's novena devotion, the #Canossian si At last night's novena devotion, the #Canossian sisters shared the great passion that their foundress #Saint #MagdaleneOfCanossa had in her heart for God.

So great was her love that she was "prepared to undergo and embrace all the suffering I would find where I went, and welcome them for the only reason that God might be served and glorified."

Her love for those she served was driven solely by her love for God, and for the salvation of souls.

When we celebrate our God experience, our lives will change. "If God takes control of our lives, and He comes to the centre [of our lives], who and what will be moved to the side and to the back?"

In our work as educators, may we celebrate our God experience by putting God in the centre of our work. May we be driven to love those under our care for the love of God, so that other issues--real and challenging as they may be--can be moved aside.

We are grateful to the sisters, as well as staff and students from the #Canossian family of schools, for leading us in prayer. We look forward to session 4, on Monday. Be sure to tune in then! Meanwhile, if you missed last night's session, #catchup here: accs.sg/cec2021
